Lovely blue silk chiffon evening dress decorated in clear crystal beads and small pearls. The clusters of the beads and pearls make the flower and the trailing lines of clear crystal beads are the stems and leaves. The scooped neckline is edged with pearls as are the arm holes but the pearls stop at the point where you arm would rub when lowered. The skirt drops from the waistline seam with an unadorned yoke that is edged with clocking. The matching belt has some loose pearls. The dresses slip is stained so I would remove it and add my own beneath the dress. The hem of the gown is a saw tooth or short handkerchief style hem. The edges are lined with pearls and beads. The fabric is all very healthy no holes repairs or shattering. |

Late teens or early 1920s black silk chiffon 2 PC. dress with silk embroidered design. The under dress is black silk satin to which the black silk chiffon sleeves are attached. The over dress is black silk chiffon with black silk embroidered floral design. The dress is fairly shapeless, as per the style, until the drop waist when the fabric is gathered into a seam line at the sides. |

C 1920s This is a beautiful black lace evening dress with a narrow scooped front neckline and a high scoop in the back. The sleeves are long and narrow and snap at the wrist. The bodice drapes freely to the dropped waistline. The bias skirt of lace and chiffon is attached along the scalloped hem line of the hip yoke. There are a couple of minor breaks in the lace. |
