C. 1920s Lovely black silk velvet evening cloche with rhinestone ornaments. this was a home made cloche and she used a 30s rhinestone belt buckle as her ornaments for the hat. The cloche fits done onto the head and drapes down across the neck. Several rows of ruching accent across the front and on either side of the cloche.

c.1918-1920 Little brown straw with rolled brim and beige gross-grain ribbon that goes around the crown and then passes through the rolled brim and accents the turned up portion of the brim. When it passes through the brim the ribbon is knotted to maintain the position of the ribbon as much as it is for the look. The ribbon spreads across the front of the brim to be secured at the other end with silk chenille thread. The ornament was been added by someone at sometime so I just left it on the hat. The ribbon on the front of the brim shows fraying. SIZE: 6.3/4 CONDITION: Very Good-Excellent

C. 1920s This hat could also be late teens like 1918 or19. wide brim black horsehair with overlarge crown all set on covered wire frame. The frame is wrapped in black silk crepe ribbon. A garland of white silk and green leaves is attached along the front brim. Brim is 4 inches wide and the crown is 28 inches around and 5 inches tall. Condition: Excellent

C.1920s Wonderful pomegranate colored straw with brim cloche with pomegranate silk chiffon on the brim and original fruit trim. Some of the edges on the silk chiffon on the brim are worn through and the apple has a hole in its side. The crown is very full and high with a moderate width brim, see below for the measurements. The underside of the brim is in excellent condition as is the black lining. The fruit garland is wonderful; there are apples, grapes, lemons, peaches, cherries and blueberries.
