C.1940s Sweet black velvet little hat that cups the heads decorated with oval shaped and stamped with lines gold brads. The brads are set on pointed strips of black leather that are set in a sunburst pattern on the top of the hat. The brads are set on leather all around the brim also. |

C.1940s Early 1904s black wool felt in the style of a riding hat. Black silk ribbon makes a flat bow on the back of the hat. The crown of the hat slants forward and the brim is slightly rolled under. A pearl pin pierces the front and has one pearl missing. |

C.1937-42 A great black straw derby for the late 30s or early 40s with a molded brim and a black silk faille ribbon with white chain stitching. The label says, “ La Mode Parisienne, 9 rue St. Jean, Quebec. Running front to back is a purple ostrich plume , along the sides matching purple plumes a curled and woven in and around the purple felt strips. Three purple felt bows accent the top. At the center front purple ostrich feathers have been twisted into puffs. |

C. 1940s Great little black raton satin perch hat surrounded by matching fabric black bows. I stuffed the bow loops with tissue so that you could tell what was going on with the style. The hat is an oval and is from the French Room of Stix, Bauer & Fuller a very upscale department in a now gone by the wayside Nordstrom-like department store. It looks like on the one of the bow loops that a pin was, at one time, attached cause I can see pin picks in the rayon other wise excellent. |

C. 1940s Black wool felt torque shaped hat that sits well forward onto the forehead and helped to stay in place by a braided cord and the extended felt of the hat. Off the back of the hat is an hour glass shaped piece of felt that is also connected by two side matching felt bands. All of this is covered with glistening green-black cock feathers and a pouff of black netting. Condition: Excellent Size: one size fits all |
