Fabulous black silk and linen blend dress with princess seaming. The dress is styled with a double breasted coat design. The deep v neckline gives way to the double breasted center front panel. The button closures on the front are fully functional to enable the front panel to lay flat. Hidden hooks and eyes are used along the leading edge. The back of the dress is set with the top two sets of buttons to tie in the design. They are decorative. The sleeves are to the elbow and are cut in one with the bodice with a double gusset under the arm for ease of movement. On the lower portion of the sleeve there are two slits that reveal the white satin lining beneath. Fabulous dress. |

The dress and bolero are edged in black seam binding around the wide v-neckline, waist and armcyes on the dress and on the bolero the black is set just an inch back from the edges. Black wool dress with chalk striping. The chalk stripes alternate from one being a stripe of white dots. The other angled slashes in a chalky white. The pin stripes are barely a 1/16th of an inch wide. The neckline both front and back is a widely spaced deeply cut square. This dress could be worn without the jacket as a jumper with a blouse or sweater beneath it. The close fitting bodice is shaped with side seam angled bust darts and long bust darts extending upward form waistline seam. The skirt is narrow with two shallow side seam slits. The skirt is accented with two large patch pockets with two and a half inch wide rolled pocket flap. The matching bolero jacket has four center front buttons to close, side seam bust darts and long narrow sleeves with turned back cuffs. Elegant office attire. |
