50s Ladies Clothing

C.1950S Great looking black crepe dress with a white hand painted print of what appears to be little tacks. The neckline, collar, and sleeves have a scalloped edge and are backed with white crepe. The right side neckline extends down on the diagonal lapping the left side of the bodice. The skirt and bodice meet at the natural waistline beneath a matching belt.

C.1950S A very sexy emerald green silk dress with a pucker texture, do not know how else to explain the texture. The pattern in the fabric is a diamond shape that is raised. The dress has thin double shoulders straps. The bodice has a shelf bust that has gathers above and below at the center. There is a mid-drift yoke that joins the tight skirt at slightly above the natural waistline. The belt is no longer with the dress. The dress closes with a center back zipper.

C.1950S A sweet silk floral dress in two pieces. The dress has a bodice of white rayon that the matching floral silk jacket covers completely. The dress zips up the center back and the little jacket blouse buttons up the back. The dress has a slightly above the natural waistline waist. The little jacket has a center front bow.

C.1950S Fun turquoise sleeveless top and matching full skirt set. The top has a side seam zipper and is some what fitted. The skirt is made up of horizontal sections. The top and third are solid turquoise and the other two are prints. The print on the skirt is done in waves or scallops and have the appearance of hand painting but are not hand painted. The colors are grass green, black, rust with narrower scallops of white. There are some tiny brownish spots along the waistband area. See photos.

C.1950s A wonderful two-tone pink floral print rayon party dress with pleated full skirt. The bodice is fitted and has a gathered wide shoulder strap that flows into a drape neckline. The bodice is made up of three sections with the draped neckline and shoulder straps attached to the center section. The skirt is joined to the bodice at the natural waistline and is tightly pleated. The skirt has a built-in crinoline. Side seam zipper closes the dress.

C.1950S Navy blue rayon dress that is almost sheer but not quite but you need a slip because you can see through the fabric. The dress does button up the center front and has glove length sleeves with a narrow white linen “cuffâ€� showing from beneath the blue. The sailor style collar is white linen decorated with large white buttons set with rhinestones. The skirt is narrow and has side seam slit pockets. The belt is missing form the dress.
