C. 1950s Charcoal wool dress with black velvet and organza accents. The deeply scooped neckline is accented with an accordion of pleated black organza and edged with a band of black velvet and matching bow. The long sleeves are narrow and close with small little zippers. The dress has several darts down through the bodice and is released below the natural waist. The fabric is very fine wool. Very soft almost like a cashmere. It is designed by Richard Cole. |

C. 1950s Great looking black silk satin and black lace cocktail dress with a very narrow skirt and fitted bodice. The bodice is black lace over a pale mauve satin. A couple of shallow plats release what little fullness there is into the skirt from the waistline seam. Two-inch wide shoulder straps in matching black satin. |

C. 1950s Lovely floral silk dinner dress in shades of blues and lavender with olive green foliage. The white background provides the contrast in some of the flowers centers. High rounded neckline that is slightly wide across the shoulders. Sort sleeves are cut in one with the bodice. The bodice drops below the natural waistline and is fitted with a series of darts. The back of the dress has a deep scoop neckline accented with a drape of marching fabric that is attached at the shoulders then drapes freely to well below the natural waistline. Across the front of the dress at the dropped waistline is an applied band of blue silk open along the top edge and secured in the seam line with the skirt along the lower edge. This band is accented with a large matching bow. The skirt and band seam line crosses the side seam lines then does a gentle upwards curve up the back of the dress in an arc to end at the back shoulder seam where the back drape is attached. The silk is backed with a very lightweight muslin. |

C. 1950s Orange and green floral rayon chiffon party dress with wide neckline that is gently scooped accented with a matching straight bow at center front. The bodice chiffon is gently gathered into the neckline band across the center front and then into the waist yoke seam line below the bust. The midriff yoke has a pleat at the center running vertically around the dress and has a matching straight bow at center back. The gathered skirt joins the bodice via the bottom yoke seam. Center back zipper closes the dress. Deep v-back line. The chiffon is over a layer or orange rayon for the bodice and then between the solid orange rayon and the floral chiffon is a layer of orange tulle for fullness. |

C. 1950s Red, orange, olive and forest green plaid day dress with gathered shoulders. The bodice and short sleeves are cut in one and the plaid meets in a V at the center front bodice seam. The collar is a notched two-piece collar surrounding a slightly rounded v-neckline. Fabric covered cord tie belt. The bodice and join at the natural waistline and a side seam zipper closes the dress. The skirt has two center front deep box pleats that create volume on the front of the skirt. Two v-shaped patch pockets are set at the side seam lines. |
