60s Ladies Clothing

c. 1960s Brocade of black and with gold flowers. The dress has a scoop neckline with a lower scoop in back. Side seam bust darts and vertical body dart from the waistline up. The bodice and skirt join at the natural waistline and has an attached matching double fabric cord. The skirt is slender and has two pleats right and left of center front skirt. Center back zipper closes the dress.

The neckline of the bolero is a slightly rounded scoop edged with a 3-4 inch wide rounded collar has a pass though left to right. Center front large black buttons close the bolero. The sleeves are gloves length. The bolero is not lined.

The coat is single breasted and closes with large center front orange buttons. The neckline is rounded and without a collar. A matching scarf warms the neck. The sleeves are a kimono shape and are glove length. The coat is fully lined in an orange satin.

c. 1960s Sweet pink and brown linen long dress with applied white flower appliques. The dress is an empire waistline with brown linen as the bodice and pink linen as the skirt. Scooped front neckline and a deeply scooped back. The skirt was lined with a stiff paper like fabric but only small remnants of it remain. Attached at the center back waistline seam are two drapes , pink on one side and brown on the other, that drape down the back of the dress.

c. 1960s Lovely little brown and white tweed sleeves dress with slightly widen round neckline. A center back zipper closes the dress. The dress is very angular is styling, the armscyes are squared off rather than rounded and a horizontal narrow band cuts the bodice in half. The upper bodice is made of two squared panels and below the band the lower section of the bodice is made up of found rectangular panels. The back of the dress is made up of two and two panels above and below the center bodice band. The skirt is just slightly A-line. The dress is lined in beige rayon. Gret Look to this little dress.

c. 1960s Lovely chocolate brown silk satin with accents in cream satin. The dress laps right over left hooking at the waist seam with hooks and eyes . The bodice has a deep neckline with a cream silk satin tuxedo collar. The cream satin is used again as the sash and cuffs. The sash snaps over on the left side of the dress and has a fixed bow. The long narrow sleeve has a cream satin turned back cuff. The dress is fully lined with a deeper brown lining fabric that I am not use as to the content.
