70s Ladies Clothing

C.1970S Terrific trousers and tunic set in black chiffon that is factory knife pleated with crimped top and bottom lines that stand away from the fabric. The tunic can be worn as a dress, see photo. The black chiffon collar is a cowl that drape slightly at center front. The belt is matching black chiffon and closes at center front with gold buttons set with a single inset rhinestone. The trousers have a waistline yoke of black rayon so the tunic will lay flat to the body through the hips, because this fabric does have volume.

C.1970S Fun black knit top and black and white print quilted skirt. The bodice has a deep open v-neckline and long tapered sleeves. The wonderful skirt is blocks of black and white with a figural print in black and white depending on which block of color the print is on. Down the center back is solid black panel. There is a black belt that comes with the dress but it is very tired and I would use a new belt for the dress. I showed it with my black patent belt. A center back zipper closes the dress.

C.1970S Wonderful blue chiffon halter and trousers set. The halter is a wrap around with long ties that can be tied at center back and drape or wrapped twice around the body and tie off-set in front. The trousers have a narrow waistband and close with zipper and hooks. The trousers are made up of several layers of the chiffon.

C.1970S This silk navy blue shift dress is old store stock with original tags from Neiman Marcus by Kasper. He dress has a small round neckline with a small pointed collar the end s right and left of the center of the attached front button placket. The slanted welt pockets are set into the two front vertical seams.

C. 1970S Long floral poly dress with beige background and the design done in green, purple, orange and white. High waist empire line with deep v-neck bodice. C.1970S Great looking little navy blue silk faille dress backed with navy cotton muslin. A-line dress with princess seaming with seam set slanted pockets. The dress has a rounded neckline with a wide rounded collar with a taffeta navy bow at the center throat. The fitted tapered sleeve ends in a turned back cuff of white silk with a gold scrolled button to close. The pockets are set low on the torso just at the hip level. Center back zipper closes the dress. This is such a wonderful, quality garment I was surprised that there was no label.

C.1970S Flowing brown poly chiffon evening gown with a cream rayon under dress. The bodice is a pattern of cream and brown ribbon in a basket weave pattern with streamers draping down the front of the gown. The dress is empire waistline style with the brown chiffon set on the cream rayon with two draped matching chiffon panels over. The top most panel is draped from the sides of the woven ribbon panel seam and up the shoulder straps to drape down the back like a cape. On the back this panel of chiffon is draped at a downward traveling angle and lays open at center back. This drape also creates a flutter sleeve over the upper arm. The second asymmetrical draping of chiffon attaches at the bottom of the woven ribbon panel into the empire waistline seam and draping around the body and drapes mid-way down the center back of the skirt. Some very faint soiling on the cream ribbon on the left side of the panel.

C.1970s Great Malcolm Starr silk brocade coat with silver metallic woven into the brocade. The colors are intense and vibrant, in rich shades of red, pink, gold, yellow and green. The coat is lined in hot pink silk organza and is edged in silver braided trim set with clear rhinestones. The coat has long kimono sleeves. The coat has a single hook closure at the throat and falls freely below the hook to hem. The right and left front panels are slit up to the waistline area and are edged in matching silver and rhinestone trim.

C.1970s Brightly colored floral jumpsuit with matching jacket. The top is solid black poly with thin shoulder straps. There is no belt with this jumpsuit the one pictured is for display only. The print is large floral on a right yellow background. The wide legged pants are gathered in at the natural waistline seam. The matching jacket has moderately full sleeves with wide buttoned cuffs and does close at the center front.
