c. 1900 Mongramed white cotton petticoat with cutwork lace along the hemline of the ruffle. The upper half of the petticoat is comprised of eight gores. On the lower section is an attached gathered ruffle with cutwork lace. Along the ruffle seam line is a embroidered feather stitch. |

c. 1900 White cotton petticoat with cotton and crocheted lace ruffle. There are problems with this petticoat. Fraying along the waistband and several worn spots on the petticoat that have worn into holes. You can also see where the petticoat was lifted with a wide seam mid-body and then let back out. Still wearable though. |

C. 1900s Sweet
princess line slip with drawstring bodice of lace. Center front
buttons. Some yellowing on the slip in spots. Embroidery decorates the
bottom edge of the applied top layer of the ruffle. The under portion
is a three inch wide gathered ruffle. There is a large pin tuck that is
an alternation to shorten the slip at the bottom just above the ruffles.

Beautifully white lawn petticoat with attached lace and lawn gathered
flounce. Some brown stains on the petticoat low down near the flounce
and on the flounce. One tiny hole associated with the brown stain.
Drawstring waist. Length is 39 inches.

C. 1940s Lovely
peach silk charmeuse slip with adjustable straps. I think that this
slip falls in the first half of the 1940s The bodice is unadorned and
only two pin tucks that I think or alterations to the length exist
above the hem of the slip. Bust measures 34, waist is 32, hips are 38,
length is 45.

C. 1900 White
cotton lawn princess slip that buttons up the center front. My girl's
rib cage and bust were too large to close all the way. Actually the
more I look at this slip the more I think I photographed it on her
backwards! I will re-do the pics when I get the chance. machine lace
insets on bodice and ribbon draw string which is new. Ruffled flounce
with pin tucks. Bust 32, waist 24, hips 38, length 54.
