c. 1860-70s A lovely but shredded Esta corset made in France and sold through Marshall fields Company. The silk is all shredding but the style is lovely with ivory and blue lace, fancy garters and the crossing elastic in back by the lace eyelets. The corset still ahs the original embroidered blue silk ribbon along the top edge of the lace. The same ribbon is repeated along the bottom edge laced through the lace. The stays are whalebone not metal. Great for copy or study.

c. 1920s White cotton bra from the early 20s or late teens. This bra was worn a lot and loved because she patched the bra twice at the center front. The cotton feels homespun and is embroidered with tiny diamond design in the vertical.
