Sweet layer silk chiffon half-slip form the 1920s in mint green and lilac. Yoke front waistband and handkerchief hem with embroidered flowers along the edge. There are faint stains on the green layer on the front right side. Elastic in the back of the waist needs replacing. Waist: 30 Length: 12 Condition: Good- Very Good, because the fabric is sound |

C. 1900 White cotton lawn princess slip that buttons up the center front. My girl's rib cage and bust were too large to close all the way. Actually the more I look at this slip the more I think I photographed it on her backwards! I will re-do the pics when I get the chance. machine lace insets on bodice and ribbon draw string which is new. Ruffled flounce with pin tucks. |

C.1860-70 Wonderful late 1860s or early 1870s white cotton petticoat with embroidery and cutwork. Flat front and cartage pleating along back at waistband. A by hand alteration to the length has been let down and there appears to one other just above the decortive work at the bottom. Waist measures Button center back. If you hold the petticoat up making the center back button at the center the "side seams" actually are in the front in line with the pelvic bones with the cartage pleats starting just behind that seam line. On the right side a pocket is inset in the seam. Just in front of the pocket there is a half pleat at the waistband on both sides. A small tear in the fabric 5 inches down from waist on the left side, otherwise condition is excellent. Waist is 30 inches and length is 38 inches. |

c. 1890 Absolutely wonderful child's bustle cage with the makers stamp still visible on the twill taping of the waist band. The taping that surrounds the flat wires has worn off of about 1/3 of the wire but all the tape is intact and as are the wires. Perfect still for wearing or display. The chased buckle is also still there and working, it clasps rather than closing with the pointed prongs, safer for the child I would assume. LENGTH:18-19 CONDITION: Very Good |
